Job summary

APL Logistics is seeking a Material Handler to locate, load, and stage customer products using hand tools and non-motorized equipment. You will count and record units, process orders, and ensure trailers are ready for loading with attention to safety and paperwork accuracy.

The role requires 1–2 years in warehousing, basic math, and a team-oriented mindset. English communication and reading comprehension are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years warehouse or related work experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions and safety rules.
• Ability to operate non-motorized equipment, conveyor systems, Warehouse Management Systems, packing material systems.
• English language skills.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Locate and load customer products onto/from pallets using hand and non-motorized equipment.
• Count, weigh and record units on daily production sheet.
• Process orders with stenciling, shrink wrapping, labeling and consolidation.
• Load orders according to specifications and complete related paperwork (BOL, Pick Report, Trailer Audit, Lot Verification).
• Unload, move, stack, and stage products safely with non-motorized equipment.
• Inspect and prepare trailers for loading; perform basic facility upkeep.
• Complete activity and statistical reports; assist in inventories.
• Participate in Safety and 5S initiatives.
