Job summary

Berner Food & Beverage is seeking a warehouse associate to safely operate a forklift, handle inventory, and support daily shipping and receiving tasks. You will use the warehouse management system to track items, stage materials, and ensure accurate counts and labeling in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Applicants should have at least a high school diploma and 1 year of inventory control experience; forklift experience is required, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in inventory control preferred (minimum 1 year).
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling safety.
• Forklift operation experience and ability to read gauges.
• Customer service mindset and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely loads, unloads, moves, and stacks products using a forklift or other material handling equipment.
• Uses a warehouse management system and maintains work documents.
• Safely picks, wraps, counts, weighs, inventories, or tags products and materials.
• Manages inbound/outbound freight and staging of materials.
• Inspects equipment and trailers; performs basic maintenance as needed.
• Keeps work areas clean and organized; adheres to safety policies.
• Maintains regular attendance and punctuality; supports team
• Assist other employees with duties as needed.
