Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus in Orangeburg, SC is hiring a Warehouse Team Member to support our store supply chain. You will pick customer orders, assemble merchandise, and move items to shipping areas using appropriate equipment.

The role requires prior warehouse experience, ability to stand/walk most of the shift, and the strength to lift 40–65 lb items, with safety and accuracy at the core of daily duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Experience in warehouse picking, shipping, quality auditing preferred.
• Ability to stand or walk up to 95% of the time.
• Ability to lift heavy products (40-65 lbs.) 50% of the time.
• Ability to push/pull 40% of the time.
• Ability to bend at the waist, twist and stoop 40% of the time.
• Fine motor skills in use 10-15% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Assembling various types of merchandise for shipment.
• Carrying or transporting orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment.
• Repacking and weighing any orders that require such handling when necessary, and reporting quality variances.
• Ensuring that standards for quality, customer services, health, and safety are met.
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assisting in conducting physical inventories as required.
• Performing other duties and special projects as assigned.
