Elite Comfort Solutions, a Leggett & Platt Company, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to load and unload materials from the production floor and move goods as needed. Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions precisely.
• Demonstrates reliability in attendance and punctuality.
• Maintains safety and quality standards in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Obtains copy of production schedule and transports material to and from designated areas in the facility.
• Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around storage/production areas.
• Stacking goods in the correct areas following inventory control instructions.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Stacking empty pallets.
• Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment.
• Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines.
• Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Dumping material into machine hoppers.
• Dump thrash into compactor.
• Complete all necessary paperwork with high accuracy.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping practices in production area.
• Practice proper safety techniques.
• Complete general area maintenance duties on equipment as assigned.
