Job summary

Karma Automotive, located in Moreno Valley, California, is seeking a Material Handler - Forklift Operator for a temporary assignment through March 2027, with a strong possibility to convert to a regular full-time position based on business needs and performance. This role involves receiving and moving parts using a forklift, staging materials, scanning data in the ERP system, and maintaining accurate inventory.

Work hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED minimum/partial college preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in a similar role.
• California State Forklift Certification (OSHA 3668) required.
• Positive attitude with good memory, hand-eye coordination, dependability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read, speak, and write English.
• Standing/walking for most of the shift; lifting up to 25 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow directions and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Receiving: unload inbound shipments and move products to storage locations; scan data and report discrepancies.
• Quality: ensure shipments are accurate and undamaged; report variances.
• Loading: move products from staging/storage into assembly bays.
• Equipment: operate forklift or power equipment; use RF devices as required.
• Shipping: load outbound shipments; create shipping documentation.
• Inventory: maintain records to ensure tight inventory control and security.
• Safety: follow prescribed work methods and OSHA/MSDS standards.
