Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Wash Aisle Operator in Roanoke to process soiled textiles through washing and drying stages. You will load and unload equipment, monitor cycles, and ensure safe operation with PPE.

You will work in a team-based production environment, handle various tasks as needed, and report equipment issues to supervision while maintaining efficient textile flow through the wash aisle. This is a non-exempt, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Able to stand, walk, reach overhead, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to work in an industrial laundry facility with temperature variations, humidity, dust.
• Reliable team player with flexibility to perform various tasks.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and operate industrial washers, tumblers, extractors, lifts, hoists.
• Monitor washing and drying cycles and input data into automated systems.
• Maintain efficient flow of textiles through the wash aisle and transport to the next stage.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process issues, or quality concerns to supervision.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
