Sittercity.com is seeking a reliable Household Helper for a Brookline, MA home. This role focuses on home care and daily maintenance; it does not involve childcare. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a busy family environment.

The position is about 2 hours per day, 4 days per week, with hours flexible. Pay is $25 per hour. Responsibilities include laundry and bedding, kitchen upkeep, daily resetting of living and dining areas, light meal prep, and waste

Qualifications

• High attention to detail and can get things done with minimal direction.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and comfortable working in a home where parent, child, and babysitter are present.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from our home.
• OK learning and using the Marie Condo folding method for clothes.

Responsibilities

• Laundry & Bedding: Handle daily family laundry and make beds.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Load/unload dishwasher, wash dishes, wipe countertops, clean sink.
• Daily Reset: Organize main living and dining areas, tidy spaces.
• Light Meal Prep: Basic kitchen prep and light cooking as needed.
• Waste Management: Take out trash and recycling.
