Job summary

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is seeking a Temporary Food Service Dishwasher to support campus dining services. Under general supervision, you will operate the dishwashing station, sanitize ware, and maintain a clean kitchen area during service periods.

This 75% FTE role includes variable hours and opportunities to assist in training student staff. Shifts run Monday through Sunday between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM with potential holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of sanitation procedures.
• Basic knowledge of stocking procedures.
• Basic knowledge of dish washing equipment.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates a dishwashing station and associated equipment
• Assists student employees and provides training as needed
• Cleans and maintains equipment and work areas to ensure adherence to safe food quality, handling, and sanitation processes and procedures
• Shelves and organizes (stockroom, warehouse) inventory
• Moves and maintains equipment and furniture for dining events
