POSITION SUMMARY

The efficiency & execution specialist is a role supporting our enterprise-wide efforts to strengthen operational efficiency, elevate execution and deliver measurable savings across the cooperative. Working directly with the EVP of Strategy & Innovation, this role partners closely with business units and functional teams to analyze processes, identify opportunities and support project execution that creates meaningful, sustained improvement.

The individual in this position must maintain the highest level of confidentiality, exercise sound judgment and approach all work with a collaborative "partner, not police" mindset that builds trust and supports positive change.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaboration & Relationship Management
  • Partner with business units and departments to discover, measure and evaluate opportunities for improvement.
  • Build strong working relationships based on trust, transparency and shared commitment to operational excellence.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner - not a compliance or "gotcha" function.
Analysis & Insight Generation
  • Analyze financial, operational, and process-related data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct structured assessments of business unit processes, controls, and workflows.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of internal policies, procedures, and risk-mitigation practices.
  • Prepare clear, actionable deliverables including findings summaries, dashboards, models, and recommendations.
Operational Efficiency & Execution
  • Map, assess, and streamline business processes for economy, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Recommend and help implement improvements that reduce cost, eliminate waste, and improve service levels.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and simplification across Landus operations.
  • Support compliance with internal processes and procedures.
Project Management & Implementation Support
  • Participate in and support enterprise projects related to efficiency, process improvement, and execution.
  • Assist in building project schedules, developing workplans, and tracking milestones and deliverables.
  • Monitor progress, elevate risks, and ensure alignment with project goals and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate documentation, knowledge capture, and handoff to operational owners.
  • Communication & change support
  • Communicate results, best practices, and improvement opportunities to leaders and stakeholders.
  • Support change management by preparing clear messaging, training materials, and transition plans as needed.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-5 years' experience in operations, process improvement, project management, finance, audit, business analysis or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for curiosity, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
