Doylestown Pediatric Dental LLC is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our pediatric-focused team in Doylestown, PA! You will perform expanded functions under the supervision of our dentist and support a fun, kid-friendly environment for young patients.

The ideal candidate holds PA EFDA certification, radiology credentials, and prior pediatric dental experience, with strong communication and organizational skills to ensure smooth daily operations and positive patient

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania EFDA certification required.
• Dental assisting experience, preferably in a pediatric setting.
• Radiology certification in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols.
• Warm, patient, and energetic demeanor with a passion for working with children.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform expanded functions procedures including placing and finishing restorations under dentist supervision
• Assist pediatric dentists chairside during examinations, cleanings, and treatment procedures
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms between patients
• Build rapport with pediatric patients and parents to create a calm, positive dental experience
• Document patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories accurately
• Support front and back office workflows to ensure smooth daily operations
