Job summary
Merit Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team in Sinking Spring, PA. The role involves assisting dentists, taking digital radiographs, preparing rooms and materials, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications
- Meet state credentialing requirements for EFDA duties.
- Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
- Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Perform expanded functions per PA EFDA certification and state regulations.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
- Take digital radiographs and maintain patient records.
- Educate patients on oral health and post-treatment care.
- Support infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to create an exceptional patient experience.
