Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Certificate of Radiology Proficiency.
• Must obtain Expanded Function Dental Assistant certificate and radiology proficiency within 6 months of hire.
• Previous dental assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist or dental hygienist in transfer of instruments.
• Expose and process x-rays and ensure they are suitable for diagnosis.
• Provide supportive care for patients and manage the operatory.
• Maintain inventory and restock rooms; process purchase orders as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA privacy and infection control standards are followed.
