HealthNet is seeking an Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to support dentists and clinic managers. You will prepare treatment areas, assist during procedures, and perform restoration placement, coronal polishing, and fluoride applications.

You will take radiographs, review health histories, and maintain precise patient records across HealthNet locations. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, radiology training, DANB/X-ray CPR certifications, and 1–2 years of experience or formal

• High School Diploma required.
• Completion of radiology course or accredited dental assisting program.
• Maintain DANB certification.
• Requires X-ray certification.
• CPR/BLS certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operatory and/or operating room for treatment as planned by the dentist.
• Escort patients to clinical area and assist during care; include Expanded Function tasks.
• Perform placement and finishing of dental restorations, coronal polishing, and fluoride application.
• Take X-rays and review patient health history.
• Maintain patient charts and records accurately.
