Base pay range

$21.00/hr - $25.00/hr

We are looking for a part-time Dental Assistant (EFDA strongly preferred!) for weekends who is an energetic team player.

Who we are

We are an established private family practice located in beautiful Gibsonton. We have an excellent team environment led by an amazing Doctor, with a focus on our patients and our team!

What you will do
  1. Support patient care by preparing treatment room, patient, instruments, and materials.
  2. Support patient care by welcoming, comforting, seating, and draping patients.
  3. Adept at pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts and fabricating aesthetically pleasing temporary restorations.
  4. Provide information to and educate patients by answering questions and requests.
  5. Clean and polish removable appliances.
  6. Anticipate doctor's needs in set-ups, suction, and passing of instruments and materials.
  7. Document dental care services thoroughly in patient records.
  8. Possess adeptness in intraoral photography.
  9. Ensure OSHA compliance with sterilization of instruments, dental equipment, and treatment rooms.
  10. Contribute to team effort with an engaging and positive disposition.

You are a DA looking to be part of a great team environment with the following qualifications:

  • Active CPR Certification
  • EFDA Certification
  • FL X-Ray Certification
  • Available to work practice hours as needed on Saturday and Sunday
