Peraton is seeking an experienced EEO Investigator to join the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity (OEEO) at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, DC. The role includes counseling and investigating EEO complaints, ensuring compliance with EEO laws, and delivering actionable guidance to government clients.

You will work with a high-caliber team in national security, conducting thorough fact-finding, drafting reports, and assisting with process improvements while maintaining TS/SCI

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Experience as an investigator or in a government compliance role is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling and investigative support to the OEEO to ensure compliance with equal employment laws.
  • Research EEO issues by interpreting guidance and policies to resolve cases.
  • Conduct thorough investigations using varied methods and document findings.
  • Draft clear investigative reports and executive summaries for federal review.
  • Track case progress and report timelines and outcomes to leadership.

  • Clearance:

    • Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph

  • EEO Expertise:

    • Active EEO Investigator Certification is required and must be renewed annually to remain in good standing

    • Must meet and maintain all training requirements outlined in EEO-MD-110




Desired:



  • Experience with the Entellitrak (ETK) EEO case management system

  • Experience with supporting EEO investigations end-to-end within the Intelligence Community

What You'll Do:


  • Provide Guidance and Support: Offer comprehensive counseling and investigative assistance to the OEEO, helping to ensure compliance with equal employment laws and regulations.

  • Research EEO Issues: Dive into complex EEO cases, researching and interpreting relevant guidance and policies to effectively resolve issues.

  • Conduct Thorough Investigations: Use a variety of investigative methods to fact-find and assess EEO complaints, ensuring accuracy and compliance with EEO Management Directive 110 (EEO-MD-110).

  • Track and Report Progress: Keep leadership informed by tracking case statuses and providing regular updates on investigation timelines and outcomes.

  • Draft Clear, Concise Reports: Prepare detailed investigative reports and follow-up actions for government review, ensuring clear and actionable recommendations.

  • Create High-Impact Deliverables: Prepare briefing materials, executive summaries, and other documents that effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

  • Innovate and Improve: Assess the effectiveness of current tools and methods, offering recommendations for process improvements based on your findings.

  • Measure Success: Capture and track metrics to gauge the effectiveness of investigations, helping to identify areas for continuous improvement.
