A healthcare organization in Dallas, Texas, seeks an Electroencephalographic Technologist to perform EEG and neurodiagnostic tests under physician supervision. Familiarity with neurodiagnostic instrumentation.
Ability to recognize medical and pharmacological conditions.
Responsibilities
Perform EEG and neurodiagnostic exams according to physician's orders.
Prepare patients and explain procedures.
Monitor and record patients' reactions during tests.
Summarize patient neurologic status accurately.
Maintain laboratory equipment and report repair needs.
