Job summary

Fairview Health Services in Minneapolis seeks an EEG Technologist Trainee to join our team at our Minneapolis Clinics and Surgery Center, with opportunities to work across other local sites in Minneapolis and St. Louis Park, MN.

This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday through Friday from 8AM - 4:30PM. The Non – Registered EEG Technologist Trainee will be focused on practical coursework and clinical training to perform electroencephalogram monitoring, electrode

Qualifications

• Ability to perform EEG monitoring duties.
• Basic Life Support certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• R EEG Techonologist within 2 Yrs

Responsibilities

• Complete EEG coursework quizzes and finals according to school schedule.
• Track and complete 500 clinical hours.
• Perform EEG recordings and evoked potentials per EEG Lab standards.
• Equipment setup and maintenance
• Assists other members of the team with cleaning of procedure room and preparation for patient
• Provides patient care
