Emplify Health by Gundersen Health System is seeking an EEG Technologist! This is a unique opportunity that allows for growth and challenge in your daily work. What's Available:

  • 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)
  • Shift: Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:30am-4:30 pm
  • Rotating call coverage on Friday 4pm to Monday 7:30am, once every 4 weeks
  • Onsite position
  • Work location: La Crosse, WI main campus

What you will do:

  • Obtain a thorough patient history.
  • Perform and/or assist physician with EEG ensuring accurate and efficient neurodiagnostic evaluation, including EEG for sleep deprived patients, routine EEG’s, daytime long-term monitoring, and consults for hospitalized patients.
  • Provide patient education and overall support/comfort during testing procedures.

What you need:

  • Graduate of an Electroneurodiagnostic or Polysomnographic program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Approved ABRET EEG Exam Practice Pathway Track or Associate Degree Track (ABRET : EEG Exam).
  • Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (REEGT) within 2.5 years of hire date.
  • Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands-on learning) from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
