Job summary

CornerStone Medical is seeking an EEG Technologist in Fort Worth, TX for a 13-week contract at $50/hr. Shift is 7a-3:30p, Mon-Fri. Responsibilities include performing EEG and evoked potential testing, ambulatory EEG, and managing patient records.

The role requires an EEG program graduate, ABRET-registered technologist status, and current BLS. A background check, drug test, and immunizations are required by the hospital.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Current BLS certification and must be maintained.
• Graduate of an approved electroencephalography program.
• Registered EEG Technologist by ABRET.
• Must pass criminal background check, drug test and have immunizations as required by the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Performs electroencephalography testing and evoked potentials testing.
• Performs ambulatory electroencephalography testing.
• Scans ambulatory tests for physician interpretation and downloads ambulatory PC cards to the computer system.
• Maintains, reviews and provides feedback for electroneurodiagnostic files for patient records.
• Compiles statistics for electroneurodiagnostic area.
• Assists with appointments and pre-test consultations; records patient medical history.
• Maintains proper functioning equipment and adequate supplies to meet workload; generates shift workload and delegates assignments.
