Job summary

Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, ME is seeking an Electroencephalogram (EEG) Technician for the Neurology department. Qualifications

• 2 yrs experience as an EEG technician preferred.
• Associate Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic technology preferred.
• Certification or licensure as ABRET preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• Completion of educational program for EEG technicians preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, and multiple sleep latency EEGs.
• Records electrical activity of the brain to study epilepsy, convulsive disorders and localizing lesions.
• Performs clerical duties.
• Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.
