Performs standard diagnostic tests and special studies, which involve the operation of EEG equipment. Identifies artifact, describes abnormal clinical manifestations, assists in the evaluation of patients, collects data for quality assurance and assessment of patient outcome, monitors quality assurance indicators and ensures that equipment is maintained. REEG required within 2 years of hire.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Trade School : Graduate of an accredited school of EEG Technology (Required)
Experience
1 Year experience as an EEG Technician (Preferred)
License/Certifications
REEG - ABRET Registered EEG Tech (Required)
Schedule
The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The position also requires working at least one weekend per month and participation in the on-call rotation.
