Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital is seeking a Per Diem EKG-EEG Technician for Flex Day/Evening shifts. You will join a fast-paced team, perform EKG and EEG tests, and contribute to high-quality patient care in Cortlandt Manor, NY. This role requires strong communication and the ability to handle hospital lab pressures while delivering compassionate care.

Must have a high school diploma and some lab training. Prior EKG/EEG experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Some laboratory training and EKG/EEG experience.
• Ability to operate all laboratory equipment and work various shifts.
• Ability to communicate with hospital staff, physicians, patients and visitors.
• Ability to deal with patients pleasantly to minimize trauma.
• Must function well under the pressures of hospital lab work.

• Perform EKG-EEG tests as ordered.
• Enter patient rooms with care to provide comfort and compassion.
• Operate laboratory equipment accurately and safely.
• Communicate effectively with team members and physicians.
