Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Electro Neurodiagnostic Technician to provide comprehensive EEG, AEEG, EMU, and EVP testing across diverse patient ages. The role includes performing advanced procedures such as Wada, PET, and Ictal SPECT with supervision, and collaborating with technologists to maintain high-quality patient care.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, be Board Eligible, and possess 3+ years of pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide electro neurodiagnostic testing, including EEG, AEEG, EMU, and EVP, for patients of various ages.
• Perform tests in the lab, at patients' bedsides, and at off-site locations.
• Interact with other technologists to ensure teamwork and support department personnel.
• Provide findings, results, and descriptive analyses according to facility policies and procedures.
• Perform core functions of the EEG Tech I.
• May perform Wada, PET, and Ictal SPECT procedures.
• Work under general technical supervision and perform procedures appropriate to competence.

Job description

• Provide electro neurodiagnostic testing, including EEG, AEEG, EMU, and EVP, for patients of various age ranges
• Perform tests in the lab, at patients' bedsides, and at various off-site locations, potentially including non-DCH facilities
• Interact with other technologists to ensure teamwork and support department personnel
• Provide findings, results, and descriptive analyses according to facility policies and procedures
• Perform all core functions of the EEG Tech I
• May perform Wada, PET, and Ictal SPECT procedures
• Perform procedures appropriate to competence and credentials under general technical supervision
• Work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Travel to multiple locations
