Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Per Diem EEG Technologist to perform standard and complex electroencephalographic recordings under minimal supervision. You will monitor physiological activity during studies, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role requires at least a high school diploma with preferred associates in physical or biological sciences; BLS is required and REEGT is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum: High School or Equivalent; preferred: Associate's degree in physical or biological science.
• Experience: Prefer One (1) year previous hospital experience.
• Certification: BLS certification required; REEGT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard and complex electroencephalographic recordings under minimum direction.
• Monitor additional physiological phenomena using appropriate techniques.
• Assist in routine EEG procedures for inpatients and outpatients.

Job Summary

Job Type: Per Diem

Performs standard and complex electroencephalographic recordings under minimum direction. This position is responsible for obtaining standard, cerebral silence, STAT and outpatient EEG recordings the position is also responsible for monitoring additional physiological phenomena by means of appropriate techniques.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Minimum: High School or Equivalent Preferred: Associate's degree in physical or biological science.

EXPERIENCE: Prefer One (1) year previous hospital experience.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION: BLS certification required, REEGT preferred.
