Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a Neurodiagnostic Technician to perform routine and portable EEGs across all ages, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication with physicians and families. You will participate in on-call rotations for emergent Neurodiagnostic services and follow safety guidelines in all duties.

Required are EEG-related certifications (R.EEG T. or RPSGT) and BLS, with Iowa mandated trainings.

Qualifications

• R.EEG T. or RPSGT certification is required.
• BLS certification per American Heart Association.
• Iowa Deputy Adult Abuse & Iowa Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training is required.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and portable EEGs on all age groups.
• Ensure accurate patient information is communicated at hand-offs.
• Document patient information on medical records and forms.
• Review each exam for technical accuracy and present the exam to the physician.
• Participate in evening and weekend call rotations for emergent Neurodiagnostic services.
