Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an EEG Clinical Systems Lead to support the Clinical Neurophysiology Services. This role records high quality studies and coordinates with MUSC IS, Biomed, and external vendors to optimize medical devices. You will mentor staff, ensure safety, and align with clinical and quality targets.

Requirements include END program graduation, ABRET EEG Technician registration, and BLS certification; three years of EEG experience and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited END program and ABRET EEG Technician certification, maintained.
• Three years EEG tech experience; on-call and irregular hours required.
• Must possess knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Record high-quality EEG studies using electronic equipment.
• Maintain biomed records, write reports, and coordinate outside repairs.
• Lead the Biomed/IS committee and mentor staff.
• Collaborate with department leaders, IS, and Biomedical to ensure device effectiveness.
