Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Leading a crew to install electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices required for the installation of commercial solar PV systems and EV chargers.
  2. Lead others through example, showing apprentices how to install projects correctly to code and quality.
  3. Properly install systems to manufacturer and job specifications.
  4. Complete electrical work that meets current National Electrical Code as well as local jurisdiction requirements.
  5. All projects are completed in a professional manner.
  6. Ensure a quality installation experience for the customer.
  7. Troubleshoot PV systems and resolve electrical issues.
  8. Oversee and effectively communicate with local inspectors.
  9. Ensure all projects pass jurisdiction requirements.
  10. Communicate and coordinate with the Project Management Team via written communication through the Project Management system and via email.
  11. Work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  12. Reliability and professionalism will be required on a daily basis.
  13. Ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements

  1. Must own all electrical tools, power tools, and a tool belt.
  2. Must be a motivated team player, looking to succeed.
  3. 3+ years of experience in commercial electrical projects preferred.
  4. Solar experience is a plus.
  5. Must be able to lift 80 lbs.
  6. Ability to perform physical requirements of the project.
  7. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  8. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  9. Must submit and pass a background check.

Pay depends on the applicant having a valid NM Journeyman License EE98J.
