Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Translate business requirements into system qualities that lead to repeatable and executable design strategies and patterns for tactical projects/initiatives in collaboration with project teams.
  2. Identify and define the opportunities for integration, selecting the tools, specifying the shared data & code resources, defining the interfaces and data-flows, and monitoring the success of the integration for tactical projects/initiatives.
  3. Develop, institute, and maintain the IT design methodology, development process methodology, technology standards, and best practices.
  4. Provide oversight to ensure compliance with architectural standards and practices through all aspects of planning, execution, and operation.
  5. Lead the evaluation of new technology targeted for possible integration into the existing IT environment.
  6. Develop, institute, and maintain the design and metadata repository for integrating all aspects of established architectural models.
  7. Survey external emerging developments, and evangelize new technologies, standards and methodologies.
  8. Provide expert guidance on tactical projects/initiatives.
  9. Provide training, coaching and knowledge transfer to team members on more complex tasks.
  10. General and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, Information System or related field.
  2. Substantial technical knowledge with expertise in at least one automation platform (UIPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere) is a must.
  3. 10 years of experience in IT required.
  4. 2 years of demonstrably solid performance in an architect role working with cross-functional teams (within IT and/or within the business) on enterprise-level or complex/novel system implementations.
  5. Certifications in related disciplines and architecture frameworks will be an added advantage.

  1. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  2. Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives and communicate to various levels of audience or to explain complex or technical matters in a manner suitable for non-technical audiences.
  3. Recognized as an expert in own area within the organization.
  4. Broad and deep technical knowledge – expertise in multiple aspects including hardware, software, applications, and systems engineering and QA/testing.
  5. Expert in developing detailed architecture models, design, executable plans and documentation.
  6. Expertise in conducting RFPs, vendor assessments, and contract reviews.
  7. Knowledge of financial modeling and planning as it pertains to IT investment.
  8. Knowledge of best practices related to IT governance, operations, and administration.
  9. Strict attention to detail.
  10. Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization.
  11. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  12. Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control.
