Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Translate business requirements into system qualities that lead to repeatable and executable design strategies and patterns for tactical projects/initiatives in collaboration with project teams.
  2. Identify and define the opportunities for integration, selecting the tools, specifying the shared data & code resources, defining the interfaces and data-flows, and monitoring the success of the integration for tactical projects/initiatives.
  3. Develop, institute, and maintain the IT design methodology, development process methodology, technology standards, and best practices.
  4. Provide oversight to ensure compliance with architectural standards and practices through all aspects of planning, execution, and operation.
  5. Lead the evaluation of new technology targeted for possible integration into the existing IT environment.
  6. Develop, institute, and maintain the design and metadata repository for integrating all aspects of established architectural models.
  7. Survey external emerging developments, and evangelize new technologies, standards, and methodologies.
  8. Provide expert guidance on tactical projects/initiatives.
  9. Provide training, coaching, and knowledge transfer to team members on more complex tasks.
Incidental: General and administrative tasks.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 10 years in IT.

Experience in Oracle Hyperion is a must.

2 years of demonstrably solid performance in an architect role working with cross-functional teams (within IT and/or within the business) on enterprise-level or complex/novel system implementations.

2 years of relevant industry experience (e.g., medical device, pharmaceuticals, etc.) or in highly regulated environments.
