Job summary

MSR Technology Group is seeking an EDW BI / Data Analytics Developer to design and deliver complex BI solutions in a remote/hybrid setting. You will develop dashboards, data marts, and analytics that inform business decisions across enterprise data warehouses.

You will work with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, React-based web apps, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders. Relocation may be required; onsite as project needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years creating Tableau and Power BI dashboards and analytics.
• 5+ years SQL scripts and enterprise data solutions (Teradata/DB2/Oracle).
• 4+ years React development (React.js).
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in IT/CS/Math/Analytics.
• Strong communication with business stakeholders.

EDW Business Intelligence / Data Analytics Developer

Remote

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop complex business intelligence solutions and support data strategy initiatives by leveraging subject matter expertise to identify opportunities and risks.
• Design and develop complex dashboards, scorecards, reports, visualizations, and analytical solutions.
• Create and maintain web-based applications and portals using React.
• Utilize advanced analytics, data visualization, mapping, and reporting techniques to improve business operations and decision-making.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, scripts, and data marts within enterprise data warehouse environments.
• Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis using large-scale operational and transactional data.
• Participate in project discussions to document requirements and recommend technical solutions.
• Support unit testing, integration testing, and system testing activities.
• Maintain effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional project teams.
• Gather business requirements and perform analysis using internal and external data sources to evaluate program effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Conduct peer reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Support project planning and execution activities, including presentations, status reporting, and risk/issue management.
• Demonstrate deliverables to stakeholders and obtain approvals for implemented solutions.
• Collaborate with database administrators, data modelers, and system administrators to support enterprise data platforms, application environments, upgrades, patches, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing, implementing, and maintaining complex Tableau and Microsoft Power BI dashboards, visualizations, and analytics solutions.
• 5+ years of experience developing high-performance SQL scripts, stored procedures, and enterprise data solutions using platforms such as Teradata, DB2, Oracle, or similar technologies.
• 4+ years of hands-on development experience with React (React.js).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience working directly with business stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate, mentor team members, and contribute in a team-oriented environment.
• Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Business Technology, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to adapt and collaborate effectively within dynamic and evolving environments.
• Ability to work in a hybrid work environment as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience analyzing and delivering advanced analytics solutions using healthcare, insurance, member, enrollment, claims, or other large-scale operational datasets.
• 2+ years of experience supporting enterprise data warehouse initiatives.
• 2+ years of Tableau Server administration experience.
• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects.
• Experience with Base SAS, SAS Analytics, or SAS Enterprise Guide.
• Experience working in healthcare, government, public-sector, insurance, or highly regulated industries.
• Experience with enterprise reporting, analytics modernization, and data-driven decision-making initiatives.

Location & Work Model

• Candidates should be willing to work onsite as required by project needs.
• Relocation may be required for selected candidates based on project location and business requirements.
