Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Educator RN for the Develop Innovation & Research department at Community Medical Center. This Educator will oversee the Emergency Department.

About Community Medical Center:

Community Medical Center is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering world-class medical treatment with hometown care. Opened in 1961, it has evolved into New Jersey's newest teaching hospital with four residency programs, serving over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients, and 73,700 emergency department patients annually.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • BSN required; MSN preferred
  • National Certification in Nursing Professional Development and/or clinical specialty preferred
  • At least 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience within the past 5 years
  • Strong clinical skills in Emergency Services
Certifications and Licenses:
  • BLS, ACLS & PALS certification
  • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
Scheduling:
  • Day shift, 40 hours per week
Essential Functions:
  • Mentoring and supporting new staff
  • Assisting with annual competencies
  • Leading projects as assigned
  • Presenting various programs
  • Participating in the interview team
  • Supporting the Education department as needed
