Job summary

Buffalogardens is seeking an Educator & Program Assistant to lead engaging educational programs onsite and in the community. You will share your love of plants through tours, activities, and learning stations, creating memorable experiences for kids, families, and lifelong learners.

The role involves caring for educational plant collections and preparing materials, while collaborating with a fantastic team and volunteers. Part-time hours include some evenings, weekends, and events.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in education, museum studies, natural sciences, or a related field; at least one year of education or museum experience.
• Passion for plants, nature, or environmental education; enjoys teaching and engaging audiences.
• Willingness to work part-time with evenings, weekends, holidays and special events.
