Audubon Nature Institute is seeking an On-Call Educator to deliver engaging informal and interpretive programming for campers, families, students, and visitors at the Zoo, Aquarium & Insectarium and Nature Center.
The role supports supervision of youth, coordinating supplies, and assisting program coordinators. Work includes holidays, evenings, and select weekends as needed; a passion for education and collaboration is essential.

On-Call Educators deliver engaging informal and interpretive programming to campers, families, students, and general visitors. Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to program delivery, supervising children ages 4-17, assisting program coordinators/supervisors in the supervision of youth and adult volunteers, and assessing/coordinating supplies and physical space needed for programs. Opportunities for On-Call Educators include but are not limited to holiday camps, after hour events, overnights, and other family programs, with most shift opportunities during holiday weeks and/or select Friday and Saturday evenings.
