Job summary

Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Keller, operated with Lifepoint Health, seeks an Education and Infection Preventionist. The role focuses on leading clinical education, orientation, and infection-control planning for staff across the hospital.

The ideal candidate holds a current RN license in Texas with 2+ years bedside experience and CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred. This position supports patient care excellence and staff development in a rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• RN license current in Texas.
• Minimum 2 years bedside RN experience.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation and evaluation of education programs including orientation for new staff.
• Develop annual hospital-wide Infection Control Plan and report findings to leadership.
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to improve education and patient safety.

How you'll contribute

As an employee of TRH Keller you will join a team that embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, essential for the delivery of patient care. You will work with a team committed to ensure patients receive optimal medical attention and support. You will be leading, and responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of education programs including clinical orientation of new employees. Develops the annual hospital wide Infection Control Plan; evaluates the effectiveness of the program and reports findings to leadership and appropriate committees.

What we're looking for

Passionate for Patient Care Nurse that is dedicated to support and lead the nursing team to provide the best care possible

• Education: Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. Bachelors or Masters strongly preferred.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience planning, coordinating, evaluating and/or directing educational activities of clinical personnel. Minimum of of 2 years' experience as a bedside RN required.
• License: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Certifications: CPR/BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
