The Centre

Sunbury, our 100-place centre, has a team of experienced educators committed to providing families within our local community high-quality care and education. The centre offers quality care to children six weeks to school age, including a 3- and 4-year-old funded kinder program. We are dedicated to giving all children the best opportunity to kick-start their learning journey and foster individuality.

We have six resource-rich learning studios, including natural spacious outdoor areas, with our resident turtle Rainbow and chickens Glitter and Lola.

The Opportunity

Working closely with your fellow Educators and Centre Manager, you will enjoy:

  1. Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
  2. Developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
  3. Documenting and sharing children's learning and development with families.
  4. Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum.
  5. Participating in professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a collaborative learning environment.

To be considered, you will have:

  1. A completed Diploma in Children's Services (or working towards it or higher qualifications)
  2. Prior experience in long day-care
  3. Sound knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF
  4. Current Working with Children's Check
  5. A passion for the childcare industry!
