Heschel School in New York seeks a Chief Technology Officer to provide strategic leadership across technology, data, and security, reporting to the Head of School. The CTO will drive a cohesive technology vision, lead a six-person team, and oversee infrastructure, AI initiatives, and educational technology.

The inaugural CTO will partner with senior leadership to integrate technology into academic and operational planning, ensuring sustainable, student-centered solutions as the school expands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Significant experience leading technology functions in complex environments.
• Experience developing long-term technology strategy aligned to goals.
• Broad expertise across infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and end-user services.
• Experience evaluating AI and emerging technologies for implementation.

Responsabilités

• Provide executive oversight of Heschel's technology environment and services.
• Advance cybersecurity, data governance, and privacy programs.
• Develop long-term technology strategy aligned with mission and priorities.
• Lead strategic planning, investments, and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with academic leaders to advance teaching with AI, robotics, and EdTech.
• Guide technology planning for High School expansion and future needs.
• Lead and develop the six-person technology team and ensure excellent service.
