Job summary

CCRES Educational & Behavioral Health Services is seeking paraprofessionals to support students in Unionville-Chadds Ford School District, Kennett Square, PA. The role includes direct instructional and behavioral assistance, with emphasis on helping students with organizational and life skills.

Current needs are for Elementary & Secondary positions for the 25/26 school year. Paid clearances and TB screening are provided; benefits include PTO and employer-paid medical plans for eligible hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; for Title I positions, must pass for 'highly qualified' as mandated by NCLB.
• Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Prior public-school experience and/or working with school-aged children in a licensed, certified, or registered provider setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly support students at the direction of building Principals and classroom teachers.
• Provide instructional, behavioral and/or physical assistance to an individual student or a small group (including use of assistive tech, on-task prompting, social skills, self-care).
• Work with students on organizational skills, guide activities, monitor progress.
