Job summary

Green River Preserve is seeking an Educational Farm Manager to oversee farm operations and KALE programs, leading staff and maintaining facilities on a 3,400-acre preserve in North Carolina.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work non-traditional hours in a residential camp setting; salary is $40,000–$45,000 with semi-private housing and meals during programs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage farm operations to support KALE program and education.

• Prepare budgets and manage farm-related expenses.
• Assist with grant applications and funding requirements.
• Lead farm mentor hikes and learning days.
