Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group in Gallup, NM seeks an Educational Diagnostician for a full-time, school-based role supporting the local district. You will administer standardized assessments, interpret results, write detailed reports, and attend ARD/IEP meetings to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications

• Current license as an Educational Based Diagnostician in New Mexico.
• Graduate from an EBD program.
• Prior experience in a school-based special education setting preferred.
• NM PED certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret standardized assessments evaluating cognitive ability, academic achievement, and social-emotional development
• Write detailed evaluation reports and attend ARD/IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and support individualized education plans
• Ensure all evaluations comply with state and federal special education law (IDEA) and TEA guidelines
