Qualifikationen

• Three (3) years of Special Education teaching experience required.
• Virginia Board of Education license or eligibility with Special Education endorsement required.
• Training and experience in administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardized assessments strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Serve on school-based teams related to student performance.
• Consult with principals, teachers, parents and other appropriate individuals on educational needs.
• Participate on MTSS teams, IEP Eligibility Committees, and IEP teams to support IEPs and 504 Plans.
• When supporting one school full-time, serve as the building 504 Coordinator.
• Conduct formal and informal evaluations of student achievement.
• Produce clear Educational Assessment Reports and maintain mandated timelines.
