Job summary

SPLENDORA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT seeks an Educational Diagnostician Intern to assess students, determine TEA eligibility, and support ARD/IEP processes. The role requires a Master's degree and TEA certification progress, with experience in Special Education preferred.

The incumbent will collaborate with instructional staff to design appropriate programs for students with disabilities. The position emphasizes coordinating ARD meetings, evaluating students, and contributing to IEP

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Hold or working towards TEA certification as an educational diagnostician.
• Three years in Special Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret approved achievement and intelligence measures.
• Prepare evaluation reports using district-approved format.
• Lead ARD committee meetings to interpret results and develop IEPs.
• Coordinate evaluation timelines to ensure compliance.
• Support staff with MTSS and IEP implementation.
• Provide coaching for Life Skills teachers on state testing.
