Qualifications

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Experience conducting comprehensive educational assessments.
• Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently.
• Knowledge of federal and state special education regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and creative problem-solvers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations of students suspected of having disabilities.
• Interpret assessment data and contribute to IEP development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine needs and placement.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to families and staff.
• Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and consultation to ensure compliance and progress.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, timely documentation for all assigned students.
