Responsibilities

• Promote an environment conducive to productive performance.
• Plan for and manage resources including personnel, finances, facilities, program and time.
• Communicate accurately and effectively.
• Use supervision, staff development, and performance evaluation to improve the district’s program.
• Demonstrate leadership and comply with policies and regulations.
• Complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
• Acquire permission to test, administer tests, interpret results, and explain rights to parents before testing and placement.
• Explain program levels, services available, and make recommendations to help the student reach learning potential.
• Be available to meet with parents, staff, or administration.
• Ability to drive between schools and participate effectively in the IEP process.
