Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas certification as an Educational Diagnostician issued by the SBEC, or Texas License as an LSSP (including LSSP Trainee status).
• Three years of successful teaching experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary member of the evaluation and planning team to determine student eligibility for special education services.
• Coordinate and facilitate comprehensive evaluations, including cognitive and educational assessments and data analysis.
• Provide guidance on eligibility, IEP development and implementation, and evidence-based instructional strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all legal/regulatory requirements related to evaluation, placement, and service planning.
• Prepare for and participate in IEP meetings within required timelines; communicate updates to staff and families.
