Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience.
• Certification as an Educational Diagnostician in Texas or LSSP in Texas required.

Responsibilities

• Identifies students with disabilities and completes related district documentation.
• Completes documents for district processes regarding special education services.
• Follows district, state and federal regulations.
• Attends IEP meetings and documents meetings accurately.
• Coordinates scheduling of staffings and IEP meetings.
• Meets timelines for assessments, reports, meetings and documentation.
• Facilitates evaluation personnel and services providers coordination.
• Distributes IEP meeting information to staff, students and parents.
• Attends required meetings and staff development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Regular attendance is essential.
