The organisation
ACCA Ventures is part of ACCA, the global body for professional accountants. We create educational courses and certificates for accounting and finance professionals. We are looking for a freelance educational content consultant to help us develop a new product focused on data analytics for finance professionals.

The job
The consultant's responsibilities will include:

• Developing practical exercises and tasks for learners, using relevant tools (like PowerBI, Tableau).
• Creating sample answers and solutions for the exercises, showing effective data analysis and visualisation techniques.
• Providing guidance on finding and using suitable datasets from different sources.

We estimate this project will take ten working days (or the part-time equivalent). This work can be completed over a period of 2 to 8 weeks, depending on your availability.

The person
The ideal candidate should have:

• A university degree in a relevant subject (for example, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or Statistics).
• Professional experience analysing data in finance or business roles.
• Proven expertise using data analytics tools (such as Power BI, Tableau).
• A strong understanding of data science techniques, statistical analysis, and data visualisation.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Proven ability to explain difficult data analytics ideas clearly and simply to learners with different levels of technical knowledge.

We strongly prefer candidates who have experience creating and delivering training materials or educational content.
