Job summary

Cardinal Education is seeking an Educational Consultant for an in‑person role in Burlingame, CA. You will work with students and families after school to deliver tailored tutoring and academic advising, including test prep and executive function coaching.

The position offers a generous compensation package with base salary, performance bonuses, relocation assistance up to $2,500, and a clear path to growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject from a nationally accredited university.
• Proficiency in high school‑level core STEM subjects, including AP‑level math and sciences.
• Prior experience tutoring/coaching in STEM subjects for high school‑aged students.
• Having a registered vehicle and a license for transportation between offices and to students’ homes.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and 1 weekend day for 8 months of the year.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1‑on‑1 academic support and advising in the afternoon and evening.
• Cover topics: Standardized Test Preparation, Ongoing School Coursework, Executive Function Management, Passion Projects, Soft Skill‑building.

Job Overview

This is an in‑person role in Burlingame, California. Educational Consultants work directly with students and families in the afternoon and evening to provide personalized 1‑on‑1 academic support and advising for:

During the morning and midday, besides receiving training on teaching pedagogy, Educational Consultants learn about and contribute to the growth and operations of the business in some of the following fields based on aptitude:

Compensation & Benefits

• On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $85,000-$115,000+
• Base Salary Range: $70,000-$75,000
• Performance & Referral‑Based Bonuses: $15,000-$40,000+
• Paid out in two installments yearly
