Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of estimating experience with educational construction projects covering DSA/K-12.
Proven ability to prepare competitive bids.
Strong knowledge of construction methods and costs specific to public-sector projects.
Responsibilities
Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents to develop detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
Evaluate and coordinate subcontractor and supplier bids and proposals.
Prepare accurate bid packages for educational and public-sector projects.
Collaborate with project management to refine scope and costs.
Skills
Estimating experience with educational construction projects
Knowledge of construction materials and methods
Ability to perform detailed quantity takeoffs
