Seaside School District seeks an Educational Assistant Special Education to support classroom teachers in both special and general education settings. Building Principal and Classroom Teacher
To assist classroom teachers with individual and/or small group learning in special and general education classrooms and provide student supervision as needed. Staff will be asked to support students with a variety of needs, which could include academic, social, functional and behavioral supports. A primary focus is the establishment of a positive learning environment that promotes a high level of achievement and inclusion for all students. Full job description available upon request.
Works a school year calendar, approximately 184 days at FTE 0.9375. Based on current OSEA salary schedule and negotiated agreement, salary at code 10 - $22.07 - $25.45/hour with excellent benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance and Oregon state retirement.
