Position Title: Instructional Educational Assistant

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Responsible to: Building Principal and Classroom Teacher

Supervises: Students

Evaluated By: Building Principal with input of Classroom Teacher

Benefit Level: A

Terms of Employment: 180 days (same as students); Special Education and Head Start - days may vary depending on program calendar

Evaluation Period

• Formative evaluations throughout the school year as per MCS Performance and Assessment procedures
• Annual summative evaluation prior to May 30

Purpose of the Position

Assist in the education of students.

Classified as Confidential Employee

Functional responsibilities or knowledge in connections with the issues involved in dealings between the school corporation and its employees require strict adherence to confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements
